Listings come in two types: rent and sale. Each belongs to one of 13 categories, and the available fields depend on the category - a flat has a room count and a market, a plot has a plot type, and a parking space has a parking type. The site is available in Polish (the default, no prefix), English (/en) and Ukrainian (/uk). Content written by users, such as listing descriptions, stays in the language it was written in. ## How the service works Listings are added by the owner of the space - a private person or a company - after creating an account. Every listing carries a category, a type (rent or sale), a location (city, optionally a district), a price and a description. The owner's contact details appear after pressing a button on the listing page. The search narrows results with filters and shows the offers on a map. ## How addresses are built Result urls are built from the segments category/type/city/district, e.g. /en/mieszkania/na-sprzedaz/warszawa/bemowo. The type is na-wynajem (rent) or na-sprzedaz (sale), and the category slugs match the listingCategory values: mieszkania = apartment, domy = house, strychy = attic, piwnice = basement, garaze = garage, miejsca-postojowe = parking, pokoje = room, komorki-lokatorskie = storage_unit, sala-weselna = wedding_hall, magazyny = warehouse, dzialki = plot, lokale = unit, kontenery = container. Every segment is optional and the remaining filters are passed as query parameters. When a query parameter contradicts the path, the path wins. Filters: listing type (rent, sale), contract type, price from-to, area from-to, floor from-to, number of rooms, number of storeys, primary or secondary market, condition, access, security options, utilities, comfort options, entry options, intended use and a radius around the chosen city. ### Query rules - Listings appear only once listingCategory, listingCity, listingCompanySlug or listingInvestmentSlug is given in the parameters or in the address path. Without any of them the response holds only the guide. - Write parameter names exactly as below, with the same letter case (listingCity, not city or ListingCity). Values are case-insensitive: rent, RENT and Rent are the same. - listingCategory and listingType also accept the slugs from the address path (mieszkania is apartment, na-wynajem is rent). listingCity and listingDistrict turn capital letters, Polish characters and spaces into the slug (Łódź is lodz, Bielsko Biała is bielsko-biala). - A parameter marked “one value” is given once. Repeated with the same value it counts once. Repeated with different values, or with several comma-separated values, it is skipped entirely. - A parameter marked “several values” takes more than one value: repeat it (listingRoomsCount=2&listingRoomsCount=3) or separate the values with a comma (listingRoomsCount=2,3). “Any of them matches” works as or, “must have all of them” works as and. One invalid value in the list skips the whole parameter. - From and to pairs (price, area, floor) include both ends and either end can be given alone. When from is greater than to, the response has status 422 and names the wrong pair. - Every value has the limit given below. A parameter that is unknown, has a value outside the list or limit, is repeated with different values, does not fit the chosen category or type, lacks a required parameter, or contradicts the path is skipped. The results are not filtered by it and its name goes to the “Warning: these parameters were skipped” line. Check that line after every query. - When a parameter contradicts the address path (e.g. /mieszkania/warszawa.md?listingCity=krakow), the path wins and the parameter is skipped. - Every result is one line: - [title](listing address): price | area | category | address. The same address with the .md suffix returns the full listing. - Results are split into pages. Every response states the number of results, the page number and the total number of pages, and the “Next page of results” link leads to the next one. You can also set the page yourself with the page parameter. Open a listing's details by following its link with the .md suffix. - One IP address can send at most 120 Markdown requests (.md addresses and pages asked for with the Accept: text/markdown header) within 60 seconds. Above that the response has status 429 and a Retry-After header with the seconds to wait. ### Parameters Below, every parameter of /en/szukaj.md and of results addresses with the .md suffix has its label, how many values it takes, the categories and types it works in, its default and its allowed values with minimum and maximum. Units: prices are gross amounts in PLN. For a sale it is the total price, for a long-term rental the rent per month, and for a short-term rental the price per day. Price filters and price sorting compare these amounts directly, so combine them with listingType, and for rentals also with listingContractType. Area is in m². MaszBox is a listings platform for renting out and selling space of every kind - from apartments and houses, through garages, basements and storage units, to warehouses, containers, parking spaces, plots and commercial units. Owners earn from space they do not use, and renters find a place nearby. ### What kind of spaces can I find on MaszBox? You will find both rental and sale offers. Categories cover apartments, houses, rooms, attics, basements, storage units, garages and parking spaces, warehouses, containers, commercial units, wedding halls and plots. ### How do I find a space near me? In the listing search, pick a city, the listing type (rent or sale) and a category, then click “Search”. You can narrow the results by district or by a radius around the city (one of them, not both) and with the “Additional filters” button: price, area and the other parameters of the category. ### How do I add my own listing and what does it cost? Adding a listing is completely free, no matter how many listings or categories you use. MaszBox also takes no commission on a rental or a sale, so the whole income from the transaction stays with you. The full price list is on the pricing page. ### Can I use MaszBox as a company? Yes. A company account lets your team manage listings together - add employees, split permissions between them and download invoices. ### How does contact with the advertiser work? Once your listing is published, interested people contact you directly by phone, using the number shown in the listing. We do not act as an intermediary for payments between the renter and the owner of the space. ### What do the referral programme and points give me? Every account has its own referral code. You receive points once the person who registered with your code confirms the account with a phone number that is not in the service yet - a number already registered here earns nothing. We also award points for bug reports our team confirms. You can check the balance in the account menu. ### How does the space search work? Enter a city or district and pick a category of space. You can narrow the results with a radius around the chosen location and with extra filters - offer type, condition, type of access or contract. ### Which categories of space are available? You can choose from apartments, houses, rooms, attics, basements, storage units, garages and parking spaces, warehouses, containers, commercial units, wedding halls and plots - both for rent and for sale. ### Can I search within a specific district? Yes. After choosing a city you can point to a specific district, or instead set a search radius around the city, but not both at once. ### Do I need an account to browse listings? No. Browsing listings and contacting an advertiser require no account. You only need one once you want to add a listing of your own. ### Can I browse offers on a map? Yes. Above the results there is a map with every offer matching your current filters. Markers close together merge into groups, and clicking a group shows the listings from that spot so you can jump straight to one of them. You will see every available space in that location, which you can narrow further by category. ### Will I find offers outside the largest cities? Yes. The list shows cities with listings currently available, but the search covers all of Poland - you can enter any town or set a radius around a chosen city. ### Can I narrow the results to a district? Yes. Once inside a city you can narrow the results to a specific district or set a search radius around the city. ### How often do new offers appear? The lists refresh as owners add new listings, so it is worth coming back to the location you are interested in. ### How long does adding a listing take? Usually a few minutes. You need an account, a category and a location, plus a basic description of the space. ### Is adding a listing paid? No. Adding and publishing a listing is currently free. ### Do I need a business account? No. A private account is perfectly enough. A business account adds team management and invoicing options, but it is not required. ### How do I edit or delete a listing? All your listings are in the account panel. You can change the description or the photos there, or delete the listing once the space is no longer available. ### How long is a listing visible and how do I extend it? Every listing has an expiry date visible in the account panel. Before it lapses, click Extend, with no need to fill in the form again. ### How do I narrow the search results? Start with a city, the listing type and a category. Then click “Additional filters” and narrow the results by price, area, condition, type of access, rental period (for rentals) and the other parameters of the category. Instead of a district you can also set a radius around the city. ### How do rent and sale differ in the results? You pick the listing type, rent or sale, in the search before the category. The list of categories adapts to that choice, because some spaces are offered in only one of those modes. ### How do I contact the advertiser? Open the listing you are interested in - it contains the advertiser's phone number. You get in touch directly and agree the terms between yourselves. ### Do you take a commission on a rental or a sale? We take no commission, because we do not take part in transactions. You agree the rental or sale terms directly between yourselves. ### How is a company account different from a private one? A company account lets you add workers, manage the company listings together and create housing development pages with your sale and rental offers assigned to them. ### How long does a listing stay visible? A listing has an expiry date and stops showing in results once it passes. You can renew or remove it from your account at any time. ### Where do these prices come from? Straight from the active listings published on Maszbox.pl. They are not estimates or third party data, but the amounts advertisers entered in their own offers. The breakdown refreshes once a day. ### How does the median differ from an average? The median is the middle value: half the offers are cheaper, half are dearer. An average can be dragged up by a single very expensive offer, while the median does not react to it, so it describes the typical price in a category better. ### Why are some categories or cities missing? Bands built on fewer than three listings are left out. A range worked out from one or two offers would describe an exception rather than the market, so a row appears only once there are more listings. ### Is the price in a listing final? No. It is the amount the advertiser gave and it is often open to negotiation. You agree the rental or sale terms directly between yourselves, because Maszbox.pl does not take part in transactions. ### How often do new features appear? We ship new features continuously, usually several times a month. Every larger change is added to this page together with its release date. ### Do I need to turn anything on to use new features? You create a separate worker account for each sales representative and grant permissions for listings, developments or team management. Payments, the profile and company settings stay with the owner. ### What does a buyer see on a development page?
