## How to find listings that interest you?

### Set the location

Select a city, then a district or a radius around the city, to narrow the results to your desired area. You can set a district or a radius, but not both at once.

### Choose the listing type and category

Decide whether you are looking for listings for rent or for sale, and choose a category. The “Additional filters” button narrows the results by price, area and the parameters of the chosen category.

### Click the “Search” button

In a moment, you’ll see matching listings - on an interactive map and as a clear list below.

## How to search listings

You can search listings without JavaScript: https://maszbox.pl/en/szukaj.md returns results as Markdown. For an agent the simplest way is to pass every filter as a query parameter to that address. Every results address also works with the .md suffix, and a regular page address returns Markdown when the request sends the Accept: text/markdown header.

Result urls are built from the segments category/type/city/district, e.g. /en/mieszkania/na-sprzedaz/warszawa/bemowo. The type is na-wynajem (rent) or na-sprzedaz (sale), and the category slugs match the listingCategory values: mieszkania = apartment, domy = house, strychy = attic, piwnice = basement, garaze = garage, miejsca-postojowe = parking, pokoje = room, komorki-lokatorskie = storage_unit, sala-weselna = wedding_hall, magazyny = warehouse, dzialki = plot, lokale = unit, kontenery = container. Every segment is optional and the remaining filters are passed as query parameters. When a query parameter contradicts the path, the path wins.

### Query rules

- Listings appear only once listingCategory, listingCity, listingCompanySlug or listingInvestmentSlug is given in the parameters or in the address path. Without any of them the response holds only the guide.
- Write parameter names exactly as below, with the same letter case (listingCity, not city or ListingCity). Values are case-insensitive: rent, RENT and Rent are the same.
- listingCategory and listingType also accept the slugs from the address path (mieszkania is apartment, na-wynajem is rent). listingCity and listingDistrict turn capital letters, Polish characters and spaces into the slug (Łódź is lodz, Bielsko Biała is bielsko-biala).
- A parameter marked “one value” is given once. Repeated with the same value it counts once. Repeated with different values, or with several comma-separated values, it is skipped entirely.
- A parameter marked “several values” takes more than one value: repeat it (listingRoomsCount=2&listingRoomsCount=3) or separate the values with a comma (listingRoomsCount=2,3). “Any of them matches” works as or, “must have all of them” works as and. One invalid value in the list skips the whole parameter.
- From and to pairs (price, area, floor) include both ends and either end can be given alone. When from is greater than to, the response has status 422 and names the wrong pair.
- Every value has the limit given below. A parameter that is unknown, has a value outside the list or limit, is repeated with different values, does not fit the chosen category or type, lacks a required parameter, or contradicts the path is skipped. The results are not filtered by it and its name goes to the “Warning: these parameters were skipped” line. Check that line after every query.
- When a parameter contradicts the address path (e.g. /mieszkania/warszawa.md?listingCity=krakow), the path wins and the parameter is skipped.
- Every result is one line: - [title](listing address): price | area | category | address. The same address with the .md suffix returns the full listing.
- Results are split into pages. Every response states the number of results, the page number and the total number of pages, and the “Next page of results” link leads to the next one. You can also set the page yourself with the page parameter. Open a listing's details by following its link with the .md suffix.
- One IP address can send at most 120 Markdown requests (.md addresses and pages asked for with the Accept: text/markdown header) within 60 seconds. Above that the response has status 429 and a Retry-After header with the seconds to wait.

### Parameters

Below, every parameter of /en/szukaj.md and of results addresses with the .md suffix has its label, how many values it takes, the categories and types it works in, its default and its allowed values with minimum and maximum.

Units: prices are gross amounts in PLN. For a sale it is the total price, for a long-term rental the rent per month, and for a short-term rental the price per day. Price filters and price sorting compare these amounts directly, so combine them with listingType, and for rentals also with listingContractType. Area is in m². Floor 0 is the ground floor, and negative values are underground levels.

- listingCity (City / Town; one value): city slug of 3 to 50 characters, e.g. warszawa, lodz, bielsko-biala; capital letters, Polish characters and spaces are turned into the slug, so Łódź works as lodz; list of cities: https://maszbox.pl/en/miasta.md; an unknown city gives 0 results and a warning
- listingDistrict (District / neighbourhood; one value): district slug of 3 to 50 characters in the city from listingCity, e.g. mokotow, praga-poludnie (districts are on the city page); turned into a slug like the city; requires listingCity; an unknown district is skipped
- locationRadius (Additional area (km); one value): radius in km from the city centre, one of: 2, 5, 10, 15, 30, 50, 80, 100; requires listingCity; with it listingDistrict is skipped
- listingCompanySlug (Company; one value): company slug of 6 to 50 characters from the list https://maszbox.pl/en/firmy.md; enough on its own to show listings; an unknown slug gives a 404 response with a message
- listingInvestmentSlug (Housing development; one value): housing estate slug of 3 to 255 characters from the list https://maszbox.pl/en/osiedla.md; enough on its own to show listings; an unknown slug gives a 404 response with a message
- listingCategory (Listing category; one value): apartment (Apartments), house (Houses), attic (Attics), basement (Basements), garage (Garages), parking (Parking spaces), room (Rooms), storage_unit (Storage units), wedding_hall (Wedding halls), warehouse (Warehouses), plot (Plots), unit (Units), container (Containers)

- listingPriceFrom, listingPriceTo (Price from, Price to; one value each; range with both ends included; from must not be greater than to): number from 0 to 100000000; may have a decimal part after a dot, e.g. 4000.50
- listingAreaFrom, listingAreaTo (Area from, Area to; one value each; range with both ends included; from must not be greater than to): number from 0 to 999999999; may have a decimal part after a dot, e.g. 4000.50
- listingFloorLevelFrom, listingFloorLevelTo (Floor from, Floor to; one value each; range with both ends included; from must not be greater than to): whole number from -4 to 20
- listingRoomsCount (Number of rooms; several values (at most 10), any of them matches; only with listingCategory: apartment, house): whole number from 1 to 10

- listingAvailableFrom (Listing availability start date; one value): date in the YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g. 2026-10-01; matches listings available on that day at the latest; a date that does not exist is skipped
- listingRentalDays (Number of rental days; one value; only with listingContractType=short_term): whole number from 1 to 1000; matches listings whose minimum rental period is at most this many days
- listingSort (Sorting; one value; default newest): newest (Newest), price_asc (Price ascending), price_desc (Price descending), area_asc (Area ascending), area_desc (Area descending); newest orders by date added, newest first; listings with the same date, price or area are ordered by listing ID; when sorting by area, listings without an area come last
- page (Pagination page; one value; default 1): page number, whole number from 1 to 10000; a number above the page count returns the last page
- limit (Pagination limit; one value; default 10): results per page, whole number from 1 to 50

### Parameters by category

Parameters without the “only with listingCategory” note work in every category. Below, each category lists the listing types it appears in and the parameters that work only in it. A category combined with a type it does not appear in gives 0 results and a warning.

## Questions and Answers

### How do I narrow the search results?

Start with a city, the listing type and a category. Then click “Additional filters” and narrow the results by price, area, condition, type of access, rental period (for rentals) and the other parameters of the category. Instead of a district you can also set a radius around the city.

### How do rent and sale differ in the results?

You pick the listing type, rent or sale, in the search before the category. The list of categories adapts to that choice, because some spaces are offered in only one of those modes.

### Can I browse offers on a map?

Yes. Search results have a map view showing where the offers are, and you can go from the map straight into a chosen listing.

### How do I contact the advertiser?

Open the listing you are interested in - it contains the advertiser's phone number. You get in touch directly and agree the terms between yourselves.
